GLOBAL - Successful Poultry Seminar in Sri Lanka

We are excited to share with you the wonderful news that our Export Manager Véronique Aben and Technical Service Manager Xavier Chatenet recently travelled to Sri Lanka between 7 and 12 May. After some challenging years for Sri Lanka due to the Covid pandemic and economic crisis in 2022, it was inspiring to see the country slowly recovering and sparing no efforts to resume normal activities. This visit was a crucial step in strengthening our presence in the region and understanding the needs and demands of our customers there.
During their visit, they joined forces with Inovet's exclusive distributor Emerchemie to host a prestigious technical poultry seminar at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo hotel on the 9th of May. With almost 90 people from different places in attendance, it was a huge success!
The seminar covered a range of topics, but the two that generated the most interest were without doubt “IBH, a threat in broiler production” and “How to produce antibiotic-free chickens ?”.  It was amazing to see so many people from the poultry industry, including farm owners, managers, veterinarians and authorities, coming together to discuss these important issues. 

We are grateful to everyone who made this seminar a big success, but in particular we want to  extend a big thanks to the team of Emerchemie, especially Mr. Prathaban, Mr. Vipula, and Dr. Lalitha, for their exceptional efforts in organizing the event. We could not have done it without them!

In addition to the seminar, Véronique and Xavier visited several farms and had the opportunity to hear from farm owners about their concerns and difficulties. Thanks to Xavier’s in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by poultry farmers,  he was able to identify potential solutions to improve the performance and welfare of the animals. He listened attentively to the concerns of the farm owners and provided actionable advice that could be implemented immediately.
We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, we therefore look forward to continuing to build a strong relationship with our partner Emerchemie and providing the highest level of quality products and services to our final customers in Sri Lanka.
